On behalf of our institution, we would like to extend our invitations
to your distinguished school to take part in ShiMUN 2025, the third
edition of our Model United Nations conference. The sessions will be
held in Yerevan, Armenia, on December 5, 6, and 8.
Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation where students
become familiar with the practices of diplomacy, international
relations, and the work of the United Nations. Participants represent
various countries or organizations, presenting their interests and
positions during simulated sessions of different UN committees. The
three-day conference offers an opportunity to see the world through the
eyes of a diplomat – representing a country’s interests while
jointly seeking solutions to global problems.
This year’s theme is “Promoting Stability in the Middle East in the
Context of an Evolving World Order.” The conference will focus on the
Middle East region, and the official languages of the proceedings are
Armenian and English.
Throughout the conference, delegates will examine the pressing
challenges and develop proposals aimed at fostering regional dialogue,
strengthening peacekeeping and humanitarian initiatives, and enhancing
economic cooperation to ensure lasting stability and peace in the Middle
East.
